Lace and raw material shipping costs don’t get passed along to customers; as a result, we can offer the most competitive prices for a product of the highest quality. Our head office in Paris is strategic in that all the best lace in the world is made at our doorsteps.

We offer ready to wear bridal pieces, bridal dressing gowns, bridesmaid robes, made to order wedding gowns, and can even customise a unique couture gown for your special day. About The Studio

The Lace Atelier is a family owned business established in 2014. Christine + Hélène met in primary school at Le Lycée Français and a creative friendship blossomed. Helene moved back to Paris to blaze a trail through haute couture, while Christine set her eyes on Wall Street. A decade later, they established The Lace Atelier headquartered in the 8th arrondissement of Paris to provide luxurious wedding day lingerie, and lace robes for their discerning brides.

Using the finest fabrics and materials sourced from Paris and Calais, combined with meticulous attention to detail, The Lace Atelier offers stunning pieces without compromise for brides who want a little bit of Paris in their wedding. Delicate fabrics abound, including French lace from our family-owned mills, silks, and chiffon all made in France. With a focus on the quality of fabrics and workmanship, Christine + Hélène want brides to feel the whisper of sheer chiffon and the softness of silk tulle on that very special day.

Shipping & Returns Policy

Lead Time 

Wedding Gowns have a 2 month lead time from order placement.
Custom couture orders have a 4 month lead time from order placement.

Rush orders on gowns are available. The fastest turnaround from us has been 2 weeks for a rush order gown. Email us for details: info@thelaceatelier.com.

Robes are ready to ship and ship out within a week.
Lingerie are ready to ship and ship out within a week.

Returns

Due to the custom nature of our products. All sales are final.

Shipping

We are able to offer a subsidized flat rate 40 USD shipping fee thanks to our global shipping partners.

International orders are sent via DHL Express for tracking purposes and routed through our logistics company.

Terms & Conditions for Rentals

For our rental items, we abide by the following policy:

Deposit

We request a deposit for each rental piece. The amount of the deposit depends on the value of the gown, robe, or veil. The deposit is automatically added to the shopping cart.

Upon receiving your rental returned to us, we will refund your deposit if no damage or excessive wear & tear can be found. If the rental item is so thoroughly damaged that it is no longer mendable, or if the rental item is not returned, we have the right to keep your full deposit.

Rental Period

Our rental period is 5 days. If you have questions about your dates, please email us at rentals@thelaceatelier.com.

Our shipping courier will provide the date that the shipment is expected to arrive. We request that you postmark the return shipment on the fifth day following the arrival date or your preferred rental start date (whichever is later). For example, if the shipment were to arrive early on the 9th of September, and you requested it for the 10th of September, we ask that you postmark the return shipment by the 15th of September. Sundays and Public Holidays are excluded.

A surcharge of US $25/day will apply for each additional day that the rental is overdue. 

Returning the Rental

Shipping time is not included in the rental period. However we expect a reasonable timeframe for return shipping. Typically this is 1-3 days for domestic shipping and 3-5 days for international shipping. We request that you return the pieces using a shipping option with tracking.

Availability

We will try our best to accommodate your rental request. There will be times when a piece may not be available. In order to prevent delays in your rental, please specify any alternates you would be open to renting under Notes section at checkout. If a replacement item is of lesser value, we will refunded the difference, if the alternate item is of greater value, we will also refund accordingly.

Cleaning & Damage

We will clean minor stains as part of the rental fee. However, with severe soiling or holes, renter will be charged for the cost of damage and repairs.
